Come out on National Trails Day and experience the outdoors by running a 10K challenge course or walking a 5K scenic loop along trails in the Wissahickon Valley section of Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The race will start at 10:00 AM with walkers to depart soon thereafter. Day of registration will begin at 8:00 AM. Advance registration is $22 for the race and $10 for the walk. All participants will receive a free commemorative T-shirt and will automatically be entered in the post-race raffle. Just wanted to mention that the Waffle Run 08 starting in Lambertville NJ was officially awesome! I had never run that trail and it is really sweet. We started by the Lambertville Restaurant and headed south 10 miles and came back. It's not too hard of a surface, it's in good shape, very scenic, it is worth doing as a destination run. Thanks again Kenny for settting it up. Going solo on it real soon.
